Experiencing the Art of Shoe Making with Alberto Torresi

Well, I am a little crazy about shoes. I can buy as many shoes as my pocket can allow. Whenever I go to shop for a dress or a bag, I end up buying lots of shoes. I am sure all of you also love buying shoes..I mean who girl doesn’t!! :D

As a blogger, I get a lot of opportunities to meet new people and explore many new things in life. I recently got an awesome opportunity to visit a shoe factory in Agra and get a sneak peek into the art of shoe making.

A luxury footwear brand, Alberto Torresi invited a bunch of bloggers to visit their vast shoe factory in the outskirts of Agra and experience how they craft their shoes with so much perfection. It was a fun-filed day where I met new bloggers who became friends by the end of the day. We reached Alberto Torresi‘s factory in the morning itself where we got a chance to meet the young man, Mr. Ishaan Sachdeva, a SRCC graduate who started this iconic footwear brand with his expertise and creativity. We interacted with him in his office and he shared his journey of starting the brand. He also explained us about the science behind the art of shoe making. Before launching the brand, he along with his team visited different parts of the country to search about the tastes and preferences of Indians in shoes. They decided to manufacture shoes for men and offer them a luxury shoe that will not only have outer beauty but also inner comfort. When the brand was launched in 2010, it was available in 78 stores PAN India in retail stores like Lifestyle and shopper’s stop. The quality and appearance of their shoes was an instant hit among the young Indian men who have a fetish for stylish shoes. The USP of Alberto Torresi is the kind of variety and international designs they offer in classic, formal shoes and casual shoes. Mr. Ishaan said, “Our shoes are technically perfect for fit. We have been working on the ‘Stress-less Technology’ that offers look of hard sole and comfort of soft sole.”

It was an amazing visual experience to see how beautifully shoes are crafted from raw leather. They have the finest craftsmanship. Every show has a sense of glamour and is crafted for confident men for a sense of style.
